MINNEAPOLIS INSTITUTE OF ART ELOPEMENT // TISH + LEO

Tish and Leo started to plan for a traditional wedding day and quickly pivoted to an elopement. During our first phone call, they shared that it just felt more like them and the priority for their wedding day was feeling fully themselves, only doing things that brought them joy. And that’s exactly how their day felt. Tish’s best friend married the two of them in the middle of MIA, joined by their best friends. After their ceremony, we snuck over to the Hewing hotel for a rooftop drink and outfit change. Considering making it mandatory for all ARP couples to change into sweatsuits for the afterparty now. From vows written on the back of their fav sushi menu to sweats and champagne, Tish and Leo’s day was ‘them’ to a T and one of my favorite days of 2022.
